Breaking Away from the Pack: Achieving Efficiency in Wound Care Delivery and Clinical Outcomes in a Value-Based World
Summary:
Despite the availability of advanced wound healing technologies, hard to heal wounds continue to challenge post-acute care providers. Post-acute providers have historically considered provision of wound care to be extremely resource-intensive from both a staffing and supplies perspective, with concerns that providing care to patients with wounds might negatively impact their bottom line. ConvaTec Complete™ is an innovative, value-based partnership program which leverages a standardized formulary and a Wound Hygiene-focused clinical pathway to drive clinical outcomes, as well as mobile digital training tools, to meet the challenges of staff turnover. Participants will hear about the success of a Life Care Community campus in implementing the ConvaTec Complete™ program to achieve wound care operational efficiencies and improved clinical and financial outcomes during the COVID 19 pandemic.
